Ky-ManiWith his third untitled album almost complete, Ky-mani is definitely a star as a person in his own right. Ky-mani was the daughter of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) as well as Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who has won numerous championships) the 26th of February, 1976 in Falmouth. East African word Ky-mani means "adventurous traveler". For a person who lives up to the title, every album and travel is an experience. The Journey, his musical journey, began in the year 1999. His vast vision of music allowed Ky-mani to discover his unique style and develop his diverse talents. Many More Roads, a traditional album of reggae that received a Grammy nomination in 2001 showcased a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as well as The Journey are well-received throughout the world and established Ky-mani in her character as an the independent "artist". Ky-Mani's musical style is one of roots reggae mingled and hip-hop R&B and contemporary jazz.
